10/21/24 LATE
In class this day, we read "Mother to Son" by Langston Hughes, and it really hit home for me. The poem is about a mother sharing her struggles with her son, telling him to keep pushing forward despite life's hardships. I loved how it felt so real and relatable, especially when she says life "ain't been no crystal stair." It's a reminder to never give up, no matter how tough things get. Overall, it was a good day, and reading that poem gave me a boost of motivation.
